The CMBA was first registered in 1962. The Association was formed to receive donations from Brethren of Mark and RAM Lodges in Cornwall, from the Lodges themselves and from other parties, which monies are used for the benefit of Mark Master Masons and their dependants who are in need of pecuniary assistance.

This organisation is controlled by Trustees who are:  the Provincial Grand Master, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, a Chairman, a Secretary/Treasurer and an Assistant Secretary, the latter three being elected annually at the AGMs of the organisations.

The CMBA is registered with the Charity Commission www.charity-commission.gov.uk/ where details of the Trustees and audited accounts are updated regularly.
