Mark Benevolent Presentation for Hope for Tomorrow

On behalf of the Mark Benevolent Fund and the Mark Master Masons of the Province of Cornwall, it gives me great pleasure to be here for the launch of this new Mobile Chemotherapy Unit and support vehicle.

The Capital cost of this unit has been financed entirely by donations and gifts from Mark Freemasons across the globe. I thank each and every one of our members for making this possible today.

Cornwall, with a population of nearly 540,000, covers a mainly rural area of almost 1,400 square miles. This new facility will ensure that a high quality of treatment is offered to those residents who would otherwise have had to travel vast distances, therefore easing any further stress and strain for those already having to contend with having cancer.

We look forward to seeing the unit out on our roads with the badge of the Mark Benevolent Fund emblazoned on its sides. I am sure that every Mark Master Mason will be very proud when they see "Dorothy' go by.

Thankyou
